The eleventh month, the eleventh day and the eleventh hour marked the end of World War one
ELEVEN graphically represents fear and hope, pain and deliverance. It is ultimately a reflection of love. Love of one's family, love of one's fellow soldiers and patriotically a love of one's country.e Title

Just moments before the end of hostilities of what was to be known later as "The War to end all wars"; a foolhardy order ricochets through the front line trench. The men of the Kings regiment are to go “over the top” one last time.
​
Although badly wounded, Sergeant Archibald Jones and his best friend Corporal Bill Saunders step once again into the carnage of no man’s land.
​
As the eleven o’clock deadline approaches Archie is slipping between two worlds. One horrifying world filled with the familiar sounds and smells of death, the other of warm sunshine, a soft woman’s embrace and the innocent smile of a child.

When all seems lost help is suddenly offered from an unexpected and gentle hand.

This November 11th 2018 marks the very significant milestone of being the 100th anniversary of armistice 1918 which signalled the end of hostilities after over 4 years of fighting.
The "Great War" had claimed over 18 million dead and 23 million wounded.
ELEVEN was written and created by Rock Salt as a feature film. There are many opportunities to have ELEVEN screened. The format lends itself perfectly for television, cinema and naturally DVD. The hope is to have it aired on prime time television or released during November 2018- which marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One.

ELEVEN is intended to be a tribute to those extremely brave men and women who endured so much and who suffered so terribly during, not only the last days and hours of 1918 but throughout that enormous tragedy. It is also meant as a salute to all our current military personal who risk everything day after day to keep us safe.
It is our hope that ELEVEN may become a lasting testament to all those who gave, and still give, everything for the sake of our freedom and safety.
